This week I’m testing my 3rd item from the wonderful EcoVibe, a set of their Reusable Makeup Remover Pads, and I have to say 2 weeks in I’m 100% a convert. I had tried the felt/fleece type of re-usable pads before and given up on them as they just weren’t absorbent and so really kind of pointless. These are, bamboo, and we all know by now how much I love bamboo! They are brilliant, just as good as using cotton disposable pads but just without the waste! Win, win, win!

Once again I was really impressed by the packaging, I do think its worth mentioning this each time in case you haven’t read my other EcoVibe reviews as this really is a big bugbear of mine, when eco products aren’t delivered in eco packaging, so this company really is fantastic at it and it is worth celebrating 🙂
This amount is great as well, you get 16 in the pack in total, 12 of the softer wipes and 4 of the terry cloth ones, for hard to shift makeup/exfoliation.
My own skin routine is to wash my face in the shower or bath or basin and then use a wipe after to tone and also to remove eye makeup before moisturing. After a few days use I realised that I can do this all on one pad, as they are a little bigger and thicker than conventional cotton pads (throw-away) which I used before. I love how I just use one and then toss it in the wash (which is seemingly always on with a young family) so by the time I run out I have more back out of the wash to use again. Note my routine is to do this once a day, if you were cleansing/toning and removing makeup, all with pads, or doing this twice a day it might be an idea to buy two sets of pads. I would definitely recommend these pads as a genuine and fully successful swap to a reusable alternative of an everyday product 🙂
