This weekend Birthday Party season started in style with our first-ever trip to a trampoline park for one of their school friends birthdays. The park was Gravity in Milton Keynes, and it was so brilliant that I just had to tell you about it…
I was very impressed with how it was all organised, everyone got orange socks to wear with sticky bits on the bottom to make it far safer when running around. Before our group went on the trampolines we watched a safety video and did some warm-up exercises, we had a really decent session with music and light displays throughout, there was plenty of staff on hand to keep everyone safe and happy.
Overall it is a great option for when the weather is rubbish and you have hyper kids to entertain.
Equipment :
Trampolines galore, ball pit, soft play, balance beams, climbing walls (separate section).
Cost:
At the time of writing, I believe it is £13.80 pp for a 1 hour session midweek – though it might take a bit of working out via the website as there seems to be a lot of different options available, and there is also a pay monthly option which includes a 1 hour per day for around £12. There are also gift vouchers available – so I will be putting these on the boy’s gift list. There are also some really great options for kids parties, definitely something I’m going to consider in the future.
Access: Upstairs at Xscape in Milton Keynes
Toilets (changing facilities): Yes
Picnic Facilities: There is a cafe with a limited selection of food on sale, but lots of waffles, so my suggestion would be to go somewhere else for lunch first, there are a lot of restaurants available at the same building and across the road in the shopping centre
Parking: Pay and display for Central Milton Keynes, but look out for the purple zone parking as this is 50p an hour and the cheapest option
