I really am such a fan of fitness on YouTube, there is just so much good and free stuff available. So here are my top ones for the month of February 2022, with a brief summary of what each is about:
This 7-minute dance exercise for stress and anxiety release will help you recharge your batteries when you are in need to blow off some steam and reconnect with your inner power! It will leave you feeling present, grounded, and connected to your body.
Today we will explore our sensuality through dance and meditation. We will work with sensual movements and powerful affirmations to step into pleasure. The more you open yourself up to this experience, the more you allow yourself to be in your full expression, the deeper you will be able to go today. I gave you my all in this class and if you do the same you will experience a deep exploration of your sensuality in these 15 minutes. Sensuality is a part of our inherent female nature. It bleeds into all that you are. Every breath you take. Every smell, every touch, every word, can be a juicy sensual act. Let this class be one of them.
Just over here trying to make working out a little less awful and a lot more FUN. We’ll chat, get fit, build butts, etc, but we’ll always keep it REAL.
The only thing is due to it being a shorter workout for youtube it doesn’t have a cooldown – so I just did this yoga after to make sure I stretched out and that was just the job:
And whilst I’m on the subject of stretching before and after exercise, this month I decided to start my couch to 5K journey, so far I have done just one run, but I am planning on another one tomorrow after the school run, and these are the warm-up and cool-down videos I used, which I found to be really good. Also, make sure, if you are as new to running as I am, you are stocked up with some white tiger balm to rub on the backs of your legs the night after the run and some magnesium tablets which are supposed to help with muscle soreness too.
Exercise at home with this fun and easy 30-minute belly dance cardio workout. Perfect for beginners. Learn some basic moves while improving your fitness, metabolism and well being.
