I have been kindly gifted this vacuum cleaner from Shark this week in order to write a product review: Shark DuoClean Powered Lift-Away with Anti-Hair Wrap Technology (AZ950UK Series).
This is the first Shark Vacuum I have tried and I have to say that overall I am very impressed. It was very easy to put together when it arrived. The buttons are all in a logical place to release and reattach and each component, and when you do there is a reassuring “click” once it’s properly in place.
Assembling:
It is a corded vacuum, but I didn’t feel restricted at all by the cord as it is so nice and long and delivers such excellent power.
Another feature I really like is the light both on the base unit and the attachment section which makes it so much easier to see what you are doing and really see the dirt that you are trying to pick up.
I also have never used a “lift-away” design before so it took a little getting used to as is fairly heavy when all together, however as soon as you lift-away the middle section it balances out the weight and makes it very easy to manoeuvre.
I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was considering the power 🙂

Overall I have to say I am very impressed with this as a product and I would recommend it, and most certainly will be using it regularly going forward.
