Meatless Monday {week 25}

So we’re into week 25 of Meatless Monday… Firstly apologies for the massive delay in getting my Meatless Monday Post out this week…things definitely do get even more hectic on the lead up to the Christmas break. Looking forward to a break off of work to catch up with family, friends and house 🙂

On Monday was mine and my husband’s 14 years together anniversary 🙂 (yes we were pretty much children when we got together). So we went out to dinner to our new favourite chain restaurant – Prezzo, which doesn’t feel like a chain at all, on a meal deal and I got some lovely flowers too…

My Christmas jumper purchase from Vinted ended up falling through as the seller was poorly in the end so contacted me to say she wouldn’t be able to post it out in time. I still like the personalised service with vinted so would definitely go back there in the future. So I went on to eBay and managed to get this little gem delivered just about on time…

Please send me your selfies too – I’d love to see them 🙂

Dinner:

For dinner we were out at Prezzo, and it was the first time I was out to dinner on a Meatless Monday and it really did occur to me how few veggie dishes there were on the menu, but this one (actually one I have had before too and loved) really stood out to me and it was absolutely delicious!

  1. I love that you are doing meatless Monday’s! We do this in my house also and its helped me really cut down on my grocery budget. That pasta dish looks WONDERFUL! I love musrooms with pasta. Happy anniversary!

  2. Bonnie @wemake7

    I really love your meatless Monday post. We have been thinking about becoming vegetarians so this really helps with food ideas.

  3. First off – Happy 14th Wedding Anniversary! What handsome images you’ve shared of your night out.
    I do love Penne with mushroom creamy sauce – I’ve not made the sauce from scratch like this! I’ve got to give it a try now – Thank you 🙂 Happy Holidays

    1. Thank you Donna, can’t believe how long we’ve been together. He really is my other half and I couldn’t imagine life without him <3 - Happy Holidays to you and yours too x

    1. I agree Chrystal, though I’m definitely glad there are more tasteful jumper options now than there were when I was a kid. I love the charity social media element too – it’s a simple way to give something back 🙂

    1. Thanks Jemma. It was Christmas jumper day which have me a deadline. But I must say, I’m feeling quite attached to my Christmas jumper. Merry Christmas to you and yours xx

      1. Ohhh…I can do oyster mushrooms. I clicked on the link you provided and I am so curious to smell these in person…that’s so interesting that they have a bittersweet scent.

  4. That dish looks de-lish! 😉 I’m getting into a clean eating regimen, I’d love to replicate this soon!
