So we’re into week 19 of Meatless Monday… This week I saw a post shared by Elephant Journals (a fantastic source of inspiration for pretty much any part of your life) and it really spoke to me as a creative person trying to make something of my blog and my brand so hopefully it will help/speak to you too:

I was also just reminded of one of my favourite quotes of all time this morning on Facebook which also ties in quite nicely:

I don’t think I actually explained last week why I have got into audiobooks of late…My wonderful in-laws bought me an Audible membership for Christmas last year, which is really fab as you get one credit each month to pick any book to download. I’ve always found it hard to find the time to sit down and read a book so this is just perfect for me as I can listen whilst doing other things, whether that be a data entry task at work or cleaning the house, it makes my not so favourite tasks far more enjoyable too. So in my ears this week….Orange is the new Black which I had heard of the TV series, though never watched it, but heard it was excellent so I decided to give it a go and I’m loving it. So interesting and honest. It kind of reminds me of Girl Interrupted a film and book which I loved in equal measure as a student and must revisit at some point soon.

The other great thing about audible is it always knows exactly where you are up to, and has multiple device sync and even syncs with your kindle too. I mainly listen on my phone or occasionally my iPod, but this is a great feature to have 🙂
One more thing to feature before I get onto the food is a blog post I found this week with a ton of useful links for vegetarian and vegan cuisine from a lovely blog called Conversational Pieces:
How to be a happy herbivore… or 14 fun things I discovered on going vegan
Right, time for some food….here’s what I had today:
Breakfast:

Lunch:
This was my most interesting meal today as I went out for a monthly luncheon with some of my dear colleagues from my old team at work to one of my favourite places for lunch, Cafe Oso in Cranfield village, you can read their fab reviews on Trip Advisor and they also have a Facebook Page. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend coming along. I went for their vegetarian Pizzanini (between a pizza and a Panini) with fresh pesto, tomato and cheese and a side of potato salad – delicious!

Dinner:
For dinner I was shattered after yoga so just went for one of my favourite soups with cheese and Marmite crumpets 🙂

Hope you guys have a good week. Please do send me your thoughts and any other veg recipes you have for me to try – hope you have a lovely week 🙂

You know, I began to watch OITNB a couple years ago. And then, it got tiresome, so I quit. I guess I get bored easily!
Oh that’s a shame, sometimes only the first season of shows are good. I’m definitely keen to see the first season having enjoyed the audio book 🎧 📖 🙂
I don’t eat meat at all, so these recipes are perfect for me. My entire family eats meat and I’m always trying to find something to make for me that doesn’t take long, but is tasty.
Excellent, so pleased I’m helping. Did you also see the link 🔗 about vegan food 🍲? Tons of good links in that post too 🙂
